CT Scan Technologist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position, working 4x10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The ideal candidate is proficient in operating advanced CT imaging equipment and has experience in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media for imaging procedures.
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and trauma protocols.
• Assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain digital imaging and storage using the PACS system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (RT) and Computed Tomography (CT) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is preferred.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina license; candidates with a pending license must provide proof of application.
