Level II Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12.0 Rotating Shift Schedule, Every Other Weekend, including Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge per Unit Needs. No straight shift schedules available.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse will provide competent care through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this position assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care based on established standards.
• Assume responsibilities as a charge nurse when required.
• Serve as a preceptor and support the professional development of peers.
• Participate as a member of nursing committees to improve patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN License (New York License ONLY).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required.
• Telemetry nursing experience is required.
