Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Recognize normal and pathological features in sonograms.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a specialized training program in Ultrasonic Technology preferred.
• One year of experience performing ultrasound procedures preferred.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required upon hire/transfer.
• Registered in OB/GYN with RDMS within one year of hire/transfer.
• Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).

Schedule

This position operates on a day shift, Monday through Friday.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
