Job Description

Join a dynamic and supportive Med/Surg unit, dedicated to providing top-notch patient care. As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be caring for a diverse group of Med/Surg patients in a 30-bed unit. Please note that while this is a dedicated education unit, travel nurses will focus exclusively on patient care and not on education.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg patients with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6:1.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Level 1 trauma center or mid-large hospital setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Must possess a positive attitude and demonstrate timeliness.
