Registered Nurse - Surgery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts of 10 hours per day, with shifts including days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekends are required, which may occur on weekdays or weekends including Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in surgical settings. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the operating room in the last three years, with a preference for three years. Level 1 Trauma experience is required, and candidates should have at least one year of travel experience within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Participate in the surgical procedures and oversee patient well-being.
• Respond to on-call situations with a maximum response time of 30 minutes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room (3 years preferred).
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience in the last three years.
• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the last three years.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics (DaVinci, Cardiac), and Transplant surgery is strongly preferred.
