Registered Nurse - Maternity Unit

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3 × 12 hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

Job Description

The Maternity Unit is a family-centered, multidisciplinary care area dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience. The unit offers high-quality antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care while promoting patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences. The team is committed to delivering exceptional care that supports the physical, emotional, and educational needs of every family.

Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns.
• Conduct antepartum monitoring as required.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients through collaborative care.
• Float to Labor & Delivery and NICU as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a maternity or similar care setting.
• Experience with postpartum care and baby care.
• Experience with antepartum care and fetal monitoring.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.
