Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit. This unit specializes in caring for patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including open heart and thoracic procedures. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous drips, including cardiac gtts.
• Perform chest tube and epidural management.
• Assist with tube feedings and patient assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.
• Prior experience in cardiovascular surgery and vascular surgery patient care is preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
