Job Description

Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital setting, and will be responsible for providing care in both adult and pediatric areas, including NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and the emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor, assess, and document patients' respiratory status and responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Operate and maintain various respiratory care equipment.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy efforts.
• Provide coverage across the facility with a team of RRTs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU.
• Experience in Critical Care and Emergency Departments is essential.
