Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) provides high-quality care for patients in the emergency room setting. This role involves triaging patients, administering medications, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver effective and timely care. The ED RN must be skilled in emergency procedures and protocols, ensuring the best patient outcomes in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess their medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Emergency nursing experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Additional certifications as per facility requirements.
