Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry/PCU department. The ideal candidate must start within 7-10 days and will be required to have Cardiac Cath experience. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a current RN license.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a telemetry/PCU setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with cardiac common diagnoses and treatments, such as CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchmen, TAVR, and post-operative cardiac interventions.
