Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM) or 3x12 hours (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM) with one late week per four weeks to complete cases. No weekends required. No on-call required.

Job Description

The Ambulatory OR Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in an operating room setting. The nurse will collaborate with surgical teams and assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide necessary interventions during surgeries.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist in the cleanup and organization of the operating room.
• Precept care team members and provide guidance in the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory or operating room setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active South Carolina RN License or multi-state/compact license.
• Experience preferred in Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology.
• Radiation badge mandatory (provided by the agency).
