Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will operate CT scan and X-ray machines to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. Key responsibilities include obtaining consent, preparing patients, and explaining procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiological exams.
• Ensure quality imaging and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation through Meditech and Centricity (PACS System).
• Provide effective communication with patients regarding procedures and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT-R certification (Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational school graduate in Radiologic Technology.
• Proficiency in using Centricity (PACS system) and Meditech.
