Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift - 4x10 Hour (06:00 - 16:30) with weekends as needed.

Job Description

The Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse will work in a specialized unit that provides advanced cardiovascular treatments. The unit is equipped with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, completing over 6,000 procedures annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, device placements, and other cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and interpret patient responses during procedures.
• Administer medications and support procedural sedation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS & BLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Ability to care for COVID-19 patients if necessary.
