Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)

This position offers a night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide general respiratory care to patients in a 176-bed facility, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to therapy.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to implement care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a certified or registered respiratory therapist (CRT/RRT).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a critical care setting such as PICU or ER.
• Strong understanding of general respiratory care practices.
• Proficient in using EMR, specifically Cerner.
