Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician directions. The role involves directing therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs are designed to help patients return to community activities. This position also includes educating patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Maintain clear, concise, and accurate medical record documentation.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Create an individualized professional development plan.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School (Required)
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy (Required)
• Previous experience within the organization is a plus.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a 5x8 shift schedule.
