Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time, Evening Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care. Under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, the CNA will perform both direct and indirect resident care within their scope of practice, ensuring the well-being and comfort of adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per the care plan, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents; respond promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal delivery and feeding, while honoring their preferences.
• Implement rehabilitative needs as outlined in the care plan, including ambulation and range of motion exercises.
• Report changes in resident condition and concerns to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI certs only).
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in long-term care (LTC) as a CNA.

Schedule

Full Time Evenings: 5 Days per Week, 7.5 hours per shift. Must be able to start full shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.
