Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will embrace our core values and focus on delivering superior quality care to our patients while ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in carrying out therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercise, and pain relief.
• Train patients in locomotion using various assistive devices and demonstrate proper usage and safety awareness.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress and treatment outcomes as required.
• Maintain a clean treatment area and ensure equipment is properly sanitized and functioning.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff, consulting with other healthcare disciplines as necessary.
• Participate in team conferences and special projects to improve patient care efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• CAPTE Certification.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed.

Schedule

This is a 5x8.0 schedule with guaranteed hours.
