Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs and physician directives. The role emphasizes the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective community reintegration, while also serving as an educator to patients, families, and colleagues. Compliance with the organization's Mission Statement, Core Values, and Code of Conduct is essential. The role prioritizes patient and employee safety and adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Document medical records accurately and timely in compliance with guidelines.
• Provide educational support and supervision to students and colleagues.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and participation in professional organizations.
• Uphold professional licensure requirements and ethical standards.
• Participate in organization-wide performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for Physical Therapy.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule.

Location

The position will be split between Marshalltown and Toledo.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
