Schedule

Varied shifts: Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and/or 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Must be able and willing to work any shift as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring quality patient care and safety during examinations. The technologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide effective imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI examinations with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment.
• Collaborate with other MRI Techs and Tech Aides to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain communication with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding patient status.
• Work on-call as needed, particularly during overnight shifts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient well-being.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in MRI.
• Experience with GE MRI equipment is required.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification.
