CT/X-Ray Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Varied 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM and/or 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Must be available for either shift as needed.

Job Description

This position is for a CT/X-Ray Technologist primarily focused on CT procedures, with required X-ray experience. The role involves performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and critical thinking while facilitating accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures for patient care.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and electronic formats.
• Practice infection control in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality throughout all interactions.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.
• Perform IV insertions and administer injections for primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks.
• Engage in continuous education, including mandatory training on blood borne pathogens and infection control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current CT experience is required.
• ARRT (CT) Certification is mandatory.
• Massachusetts Radiology license must be valid and uploaded with the application.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
