Varied schedule:

• Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday and Saturday: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

This position is for a CT/X-Ray Technologist, primarily requiring expertise in Computed Tomography. Candidates must also have X-ray experience. The role involves performing a variety of technical procedures, utilizing independent judgment and critical thinking to facilitate diagnosis while ensuring patient care aligns with departmental and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and infection control practices.
• Demonstrate proper operation of CR, DR, CT, and PACs applications.
• Assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities as determined by management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience is required.
• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography is required.
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Travelers must provide their permanent address and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.
