Occupational Therapist

Schedule

This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, guaranteeing 40 hours per week.

Job Description

This role involves facilitating the development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will plan and administer medically prescribed occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational therapy programs for patients.
• Evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans.
• Administer therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float to other units and take charge shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of Occupational Therapy experience, preferably in behavioral health, within the past 3 months.
• Must be licensed by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Active Vermont or Compact state license required.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Submit a resume that lists all age groups with which experience has been gained.
• Provide two supervisory references from the last two years of employment.
