Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Job Description

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs a variety of CT scans for patients of all ages, applying principles, theories, and techniques of computed tomography scanning to provide reliable scan results. This role entails working with patients from neonates to geriatric individuals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to imaging diagnostics.

Schedule

This position involves varied 8-hour shifts, including 3 to 5 night shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of CT scans on patients across all age groups.
• Ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to safety and procedural guidelines to maintain patient and staff safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program in Radiology - REQUIRED
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience with ARRT certification - REQUIRED
• Familiarity with Toshiba Acquillion 128 slice, EPIC EMR, and Philips PACS is preferred.
• Applicants must be willing to obtain necessary certifications if not active at the time of submission.
• Licensure does not need to be active at the time of submission but must be applied for upon offer.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
