This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour days with a guarantee of 40 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holiday coverage may be required.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to clients of the agency. This includes delivering direct patient care, collaborating with other team members, and participating in the development of comprehensive care plans for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to home health clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment, including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment.
• Document patient progress and therapy interventions effectively.
• Perform evaluations and assist in the modification of therapy interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist License.
• Home Health Certification and proficiency with OASIS are non-negotiable.
• 2+ years of experience in acute nursing care and home care is required.
• Valid Driver License and personal vehicle necessary for job duties.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
