CT/X-Ray Technologist - Afternoon Shift

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The CT/X-Ray Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking. Responsibilities include facilitating a diagnosis through exemplary technical skills and patient care while adhering to departmental and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Ensure proper care of clients according to departmental and hospital guidelines.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Assume supervisory or instructive responsibilities when assigned by management.
• Complete annual mandatory education and maintain department competencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience.
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred (at least 6 months).
• Must have Massachusetts Radiology License.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (R) required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
