Emergency Room Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team for an engaging 13-week contract position. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency room environment, ensuring the health and safety of patients in critical situations.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 12-hour night shift from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in the emergency department.
• Provide critical interventions based on assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
• Document patient information and updates accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of current Emergency Room experience required.
• Massachusetts RN license.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
• Permanent address must be included in the profile.
