Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

This position requires an 8-hour day shift from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with varying schedules that include 4 weekends every 4 weeks and holiday requirements.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will support acute care patients across the hospital, working under physician orders. Responsibilities include assessing and treating a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, such as patients in the ICU, those who have had strokes or other neurological conditions, and individuals requiring orthopedic care or assistance due to general debility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Occupational Therapy specialty.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active GA license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with One Chart - Cerner system is preferred.
