This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8-hour day shifts, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and the expectation of working up to 40 hours. Overtime must be approved by the director prior to working any OT hours.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide outpatient orthopedic care, working closely with physical therapists to assist in evaluations and treatment plans. This role involves delivering therapy interventions and ensuring quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans as designed by physical therapists.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Outpatient experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
