LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership qualities to ensure the safe delivery of care. This role requires maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education, as well as delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the available staff. The Registered Nurse will also provide direction and supervision for personnel involved in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning for patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education.
• Delegate and prioritize patient care tasks appropriately among staff.
• Supervise and provide feedback to nursing personnel delivering care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 to 5 years of clinical experience required.
• Must possess current ACLS & BLS certifications (through the American Heart Association).
• Must have a valid Missouri RN or multi-state RN license.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift, from 19:00 to 07:00.
