Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Day (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

This position requires assistance on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and includes a midweek shift on Wednesday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing Inpatient Rehab Unit. This float position will encompass all units within the facility, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment. The selected candidate will be part of a cohesive team dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Implement physical therapy treatments using various equipment such as Hoyer lifts and EZ Stands.
• Provide care for acute care patients with ratios of 8-10 or 4 rehab patients.
• Collaborate with a team of 12-15 physical therapists daily to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Physical Therapist license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification preferred.
• Inpatient Rehab experience is an advantage.
