08:00 AM - 04:30 PM, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves working within a 253-bed acute care hospital, specifically in the Inpatient Physical Therapy unit. You will work collaboratively with a team of approximately 20 PT caregivers to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PT evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and overall function.
• Maintain a productivity standard of 75% with about 9-10 patients per day.
• Utilize mobility equipment and EMR systems (Meditech) for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree from an accredited college or university.
• Acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Meditech experience and ICU experience are advantageous.
