Job Description

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing optimal diagnostic images while ensuring exceptional patient care. The incumbent will be accountable for individualized patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation specific to various age groups. Competency in imaging equipment operation and adherence to safety protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures following established guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures; consult with Radiologists to improve image quality.
• Maintain accurate medical charts, informed consent documentation, and quality improvement records.
• Assist with departmental needs and may float to different modalities within the organization.
• Demonstrate competencies in the Operating Room Suite and portable radiography.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• Proficient in Fluoroscopy required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• BLS certification (AHA).
