Job Description

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing optimal diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care under the general supervision of the Imaging Manager. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care across various age groups, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
• Provide individualized patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Verify and execute physician orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
• Consult with Radiologists regarding contrast media and image quality corrections.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with protocol during procedures.
• Assist with the operational needs of the department, including imaging equipment maintenance.
• Participate in quality improvement studies and maintain accurate medical documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of radiology experience required.
• Fluoroscopy experience is required.
• Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification upon hire.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
