Job Description

This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The Registered Nurse is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care and provides comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Provide optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Involve families or significant others in care assessment and planning.
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam to include identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips.
