Medical Laboratory Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable shifts: 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30) for evenings and Night 3x12-Hour (23:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to perform complex laboratory tests and procedures. The ideal candidate will work in a Critical Access Hospital environment, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of lab results for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and inventories.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory protocols.
• Assist in the training of new staff as needed.
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience required.
• Required certifications: ASCP MLT or MLS.
• BLS certification preferred.
