Echocardiography Technician - EMR Epic

Job Description

We are seeking a competent to proficient Echocardiography Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in adult echocardiography, including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, and color flow mapping with a focus on various cardiology conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiography procedures including 2D, Doppler (CW & PW), and color flow mapping.
• Conduct studies related to valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart diseases, pericardial diseases, and effusions.
• Administer 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and hypertensive heart disease studies.
• Provide insights and analysis on echocardiography results for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• RDCS certification required; ARDMS or CCI certification accepted.
• Active AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule

This position requires 40-hour shift work and on-call availability as appropriate. Candidates must also be prepared to float to other departments as needed.

Dress Code

Personal scrubs and healthcare professional attire are required for this role.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
