Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will support physical therapy services in a rehabilitation hospital setting, focusing on the recovery of patients with various conditions, including neurological, orthopedic, cardiac issues, and more. The role involves collaboration with a dedicated team of rehab professionals to improve patient functional abilities and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct therapy sessions to help patients regain mobility and functional skills.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy goals and interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license preferred.
• Experience with neuro, ortho, debility, and cardiac treatment protocols.
