Job Description

The COTA will work within an inpatient rehabilitation setting, providing exceptional care to patients recovering from various conditions such as strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and more. This role demands teamwork and effective communication skills to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in various therapeutic activities to improve functional abilities.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to enhance recovery.
• Utilize specialized equipment and advanced therapy techniques during sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility or skilled nursing facility (SNF).
• COTA certification required.
