Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide care and support to patients in a rehabilitation setting, focusing on recovery from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The LPN will work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with daily living activities and support patients in their recovery processes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the RN.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current LPN certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in floor nursing; experience in rehabilitation nursing is preferred.
