Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional patient care in a rehabilitation setting, focusing on enhancing individual functional ability and quality of life. This role involves a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses physical, emotional, and psychological components of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs, focusing on movement patterns, strength, flexibility, functional ability, balance, and tone.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, specialists, and family members.
• Monitor and administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans and rehabilitation efforts.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the State of Missouri.
• BLS (CPR) Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a rehabilitation or med/surg setting.
