LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process, in alignment with the Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies. The role emphasizes critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in ensuring the safe delivery of care. The Registered Nurse will maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education, prioritize patient care, and supervise the personnel tasked with delivering that care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in care delivery.
• Delegate patient care priorities to nursing staff effectively.
• Provide supervision and direction to assigned healthcare personnel.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain clinical competencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two to five years of clinical experience required.
• Must have current ACLS & BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care is essential.
• Must possess a valid Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
