Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Travel Med Surg RN to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to float occasionally to help in critical care with low acuity patients. Must be comfortable with med-surg and step-down levels of care, as most shifts will have a mix of both.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a med-surg and step-down setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
• 1 year of PCU/Stepdown and Med Surg experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• PALS certification required if extended.
