Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. This position involves working with adults, including geriatric patients and those with post-operative needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medical/Surgical floor.
• Monitor patient condition and administer medications as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Assist in post-surgical recovery and care management.
• May float to the Senior Behavioral Health Unit or ICU as a sitter if needed (rare).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Active and unrestricted RN license.
