Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a dynamic environment, providing quality care in Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Triage, Postpartum, and Nursery settings. This role offers an opportunity to support families during one of life's most significant moments while managing various clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal periods.
• Conduct assessments and manage care for patients with pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, and other hypertensive crises.
• Perform and manage Cesarean sections and labor induction procedures.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and perform interventions as needed.
• Care for postpartum patients and their newborns, ensuring couplet care principles are applied.
• Utilize various medical equipment, including fetal monitors and medication dispensers, according to established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care.
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
• Familiarity with Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring is preferred.
• Must be willing to float to other departments based on patient census and departmental needs.
