Night Shift: 22:00 - 08:30, 4 x 10 Hour Shifts, Rotating Weekend Hours

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) position requires a Nevada General Supervisor license and a candidate with at least 3 years of experience. The MLS will perform laboratory tests and analyses in a variety of specialties including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Special Chemistry. The role involves obtaining accurate and reliable results to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests and analyses in various laboratory specialties.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laboratory procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory environment.
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
• State of Nevada General Supervisor License.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of general laboratory practices.
