Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Women’s Services unit, providing comprehensive care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings. The role requires expertise in managing the labor process, assisting in deliveries, and caring for postpartum patients and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage any interventions required.
• Administer care for normal deliveries, C-sections, and manage complications such as pre-eclampsia.
• Perform newborn assessments and procedures in the nursery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications required.
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required.
• Must possess a valid RN license.
