Laboratory Supervisor

Job Description

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols, assists in maintaining laboratory equipment, and supports the Manager in overseeing staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and manage laboratory personnel.
• Ensure compliance with quality control protocols.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Support staffing activities, including training and compliance with regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of a high school diploma and graduation from a MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by relevant organizations.
• Must have ASCP certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent laboratory supervisor experience required.

Schedule

Shifts will be Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
