Schedule

Days, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with one weekend per month required. Weekdays off will be provided to balance out weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in our 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and inpatient rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including the Director, Lead PT, and other therapy staff.
• Manage patient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and general medical/surgical populations.
• Utilize various equipment including treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes.
• Document all relevant patient information in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of current experience in a hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF setting is essential.
• Ability to work varied day shift hours.
