Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM. Call required at least two days per week and one weekend per month.

Job Description

The Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse will work in the cardiac lab as well as in the recovery and preoperative areas. Responsibilities include assisting with tech duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work on various cardiac cases in the cath lab.
• Assist with recovery and preoperative procedures.
• Help with tech duties including Impella insertion, balloon pumps, CSI, peripheral cases, Rota Pro, and device implantation.
• Perform holding area procedures such as cardioversions, EVLT, and TEE.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Experience with specialized cardiac procedures is necessary.
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred.
• Must have an active RN license.
