Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, providing top-quality care to expectant mothers and newborns. Responsibilities include monitoring patients during labor, assisting in deliveries, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient status during labor.
• Provide direct care to expectant mothers and newborns.
• Assist in delivery procedures and neonatal assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team tо provide optimal care.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in Iowa.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are required.
• Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult abuse.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug test including opiates.
• Background checks must be fully cleared prior to starting work.
• Titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) must be completed within the last 12 months.
